Hillary Supporters: Barack Obama Despicable

Gov. Sarah Palin after signing bill benefiting soldiers of the Alaska National Guard. Sarah's and Todd Palin's son, Track, age 18, is an infantryman in the U.S. Army. He and and his best friend both enlisted on September 11, 2007.

Below: Alaska Gov. Sarah Heath Palin with baby son Trig swaddled. Picture is with Sarah and legislators on capital steps in Juneau. Sarah is now the front-runner for the GOP vice presidential nomination. This weekend I'll have separate columns about Gov. Palin on this national blog and my "Hillary Supporters for McCain" blog. I urge you to bookmark these sites and visit them often.

The biggest buzz in the blogosphere nowadays reflects the vast number of Hillary Clinton supporters who intend to vote for McCain. As I explain on my Hillary Supporters for McCain blog -- the original such site -- one of the Hillary supporters for McCain may be the New York Senator herself.

Here's the link: Doesn't Hillary Really Favor McCain?

On the above linked column at that popular site, I assert the following: Tomorrow, Senator Clinton will endorse a man she despises: Barack Obama.

Her heart definitely will not be in it.More to follow here about why I believe Hillary Clinton will be "blowing smoke" at us in her Saturday endorsement of Barack Obama. She's going to have her fingers crossed. Everything Sen. Clinton does between now and November 4 is going to be based not on the 2008 election, but on the one in 2012. Right now, she's in full "grin-and-bear-it" mode. Conversely, her supporters are not grinning -- and, as we hear in the movie "Network," they're "not going to take it any more."

Let's see, what did Barack and his surrogates (including Rev. Wright and Father Pfleger) say about Hillary? That she's a chronic liar, that she's a warmonger (for supporting the Iraq War Resolution), and a racist. They also profoundly misrepresented the assasination of Bobby Kennedy. Other than those things, I guess, they feel she's okay.

Hillary was badly trashed in the Democratic primaries. And the person running the trash machince was none other than Barack Obama. His windy rhetoric somehow prevailed over Sen. Clinton's issues-oriented campaign. As history will record, he scooped up such huge majorities in Black communities that Sen. Clinton had no real chance to win enough delegates.

In the primaries, Blacks voting in lock-step for Obama was somehow an issue of pride. In contrast, white voters supporting Clinton apparently was a manifestation of racism. As Obama put it, the Clinton supporters were "bitter" people, "clinging" to their religion, guns, and racial prejudices. That "contrasted" with his supporters, whose heart were supposedly pure.

No wonder so many Hillary Supporters are sickened by the outcome. Senator Clinton has a political history of supporting causes favored by American Blacks. Her "reward" for that record has been to be characterized as a racist.

What do you think of the "bump" Obama gave to his wife and the smack on the ass he gave her.

Isn't it out of place? Isn't that against the protocol? Isn't that a lack of judgment about something that has been done at the wrong place at the wrong time?

Could we ever envision John McCain smacking his wife on the ass just like that?

I am outraged by such a shocking behavior and even more by the justification that it would somehow be a "black" tradition.

I don't think Collin Powell would have ever done that. Neither does Codelissa Rice accepting receiving the "bump" by any other black man nor Georges W Bush himself even less a smack on the ass.

Tym, Obama is the "Black" candidate when it suits his purposes -- and the mixed race candidate when that's to his advantage. As you wrote recently, it's quite amazing that a guy brought up exclusively by white people and with a white mother somehow morphs into the quintessential Black candidate.

I haven't looked at the head line news recently in USA media (maybe I should do my homeworks once and a while but I'd rather blog as a personal choice when I get the time to do so) but I do think that the general public must be outraged of such careless, unprofessional and undiplomatic matters. Is this guy going to act like this when he meets other presidents. Is he going to smack the asses of every lady he meets out there (Queen Elisabeth? Germany chancelor or what not?)

I know that Canada is usually more relaxed in protocolary matter but never ever shall we see that in Canada, black, asian, jew or white or what not.

Democrats were the first to point out rightfully that sometimes Georges W Bush despite his charisma spoke sometimes fool languages and was making many grammar and lapsus mistakes. He reminded us Jean Chrétien as a prime minister over here in Canada.

However with this smack on the ass of his wife (more than the "bump") that is going to make the hall of shame in Democrats history, Democrats have pushed the enveloppe over some new lows.

Regards,

Tym Machine

Q&A How can McCain SIMULTANEOUSLY attract both Hillary AND Bob Barr voters? Answer: PALIN Veep!

Oh,c'mon. I'm a Palin supporter and I really really don't like Obama. But their knuckle bump and his little pat on her rump made me smile. I would rather have our president be hot for his wife (or hot for her husband!) than to be hot for an intern.

Hi Laura, Tym is a French-Canadian teacher from Montreal. I'm sure he knows well the saying, "Chacun a son gout," which means "Each to his own taste." I'm going to be on Sirius radio from New York at 5:30 on Monday (early evening) and I'll be talking about Sarah most of the time. This is really a great time for Sarah backers. Appreciate your visiting. Come again. Where do you live in Alaska?

@Laura,

I bet the democrats would have been the first to denounce vigourously Bush smacking his wife on the ass as a sexist gesture but when it comes to Obama, how sweet is he to publicly demonstrate his virility and his "love" for his wife.

I smell partisanery over here...

I'd really rather see a pat on the bum than have a President who refers to his wife with a four letter cuss word that begins with C. Classy, no?

It was not even a pat on the rump is was on the lower back. And yes it is a good thing to show you love your wife and not an intern. And it was definately not like he was coping a feel. Give me a break. At least he didn't give the German prime minister an inappropriate back rube ie George Bush. Lets get real.
