Bloggers for Palin Mushrooming

To regular visitors, I'll have a new column up about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The number of bloggers supporting Sarah Palin for V-P is mushrooming. Here are some:

Sarah Choice for VPBy Stephen R. Maloney(SJ Reidhead) My VP week on Moms for McCain would not be complete without mention of fellow Mom and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, another "rising star" in the GOP, who has a unique ability to appeal to several key constituencies.

The popular site called "Wizbang" is saying that Gov. Sarah Palin is meeting with a key member of John McCain's team in regard to the vice-presidency. Those of us in the "Palin Movement" are working to veryify the story. Is Sarah gets elected as V-P, there's little doubt the presidency will be her next step.

A tipster sent us word that John McCain's VP advance man Arthur Culvahouse has been spotted in Juneau, Alaska. There's only one reason he would be there - to meet with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin about the Vice President position.

This comes on the heels of McCain's Memorial Day weekend barbecue attended by Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, former White House budget director Rob Portman, and Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman. Supposedly that was in informal affair, not a vetting session, but it appears that the VP selection game is very much afoot.

Governor Palin would (in my estimation) make an excellent VP candidate for McCain. Thomas Cheplick at The American Spectator makes the case that she's probably the only VP cadidate who can balance the ticket against Obama. She's also a potential magnet for disaffected Hillary Clinton voters, many of whom are just looking for a reason not to vote for Obama.

I've heard that Michael is a Sarah-booster. We need him to keep talking.

Are you aware of the fact that Sarah Palin-Chavez proposed and pushed through the largest socialistic tax increase in the history of the world? It’s a 400% increase on the state’s #1 taxpayer that funds roughly 90% of the state’s budget. (See ACES)

Speaking of budgets… do you know that she increased the fy09 operating budget by 23%?

And what do you think of her left-wing socialist energy rebate debit card for $100.00 and utility reductions for every Alaskan resident? And people wonder why she has high approval ratings… ha! If you can’t figure that out, you’ve never been to Alaska were people love free money from the government!!!

What would life be without your mindless, nonsensical harangues against Sarah? I don't think it will hurt her much in today's America by taking on the Big Oil companies, which have huge profits because the tax increase and will have huge profits afterwards. You are a very sick person, my friend. The price of oil had doubled in a little over a year, and a small tax increase is not going to hurt the oil companies one bit. If I were you, I'd seek help from mental health care professionals.

I want "Anonymous" to understand that if he lacks the testicles to give his name and location his comments will be deleted immediately. He's a person of very low intelligence who blurts out slogans and has nothing to add to the discussion of any serious issues.

"Ever the populist, Palin has asked the legislature to pass a bill that would give every resident $1,200 to help pay for gasoline. This proposal isn't a slam-dunk either, but no doubt Hugo Chavez would be proud."
