Sarah Palin: Lose the Lipstick

Sarah Palin is dominating the print and electronic media, and McCain bloggers are beginning to dominate the Web. Bulletin: Scroll down several paragraphs to see Cristi Adkins' first-hand report on today's McCain-Palin rally in Fairfax, Virginia

Sarah Palin: "You know the difference between a pit bull and a hockey mom? Lipstick!"

[If you ever wondered (but why?) what I look like (hint: NOT Brad Pitt) and sound like (more like BHO than Sarah Palin), the link following is me appearing on KDKA Web TV in Pittsburgh. I am debating two women liberals regarding Gov. Palin. At one point I say, "I think I'm the only one here who takes women seriously." I also suggested they were watching entirely too much "Nick at Night." http://kdka.com/video/?id=45870@kdka.dayport.com Note: I have five daughters, four of whom voted for Hillary Clinton -- along with my wife -- in the Democratic Primaries but all of whom are now backing McCain-Palin. ]

Thanks to the 140,000-plus people who have visitied my blogs in the past eight days. My main blog is: http://camp2008victorya.blogspot.com. I also have a very popular blog established in April that appeals mainly to people who supported Hillary Clinton and are now behind McCain-Palin: http://hillarysupportersformccain.blogspot.com. Finally, there's my Pennsylvania-specific blog: http://pennsylvaniaforjohnmccain.blogspot.com. I hope you'll visit all of them frequently. I was the blogger who broke the story that McCain would choose Sarah Palin as his running -- at 2:30 a.m. two Fridays ago.

Cristi Adkins' report on today's McCain-Palin rally in Fairfx, Virginia, follows:

"Went to a Sarah Palin and John McCain rally today in Fairfax. It was excellent work, and a crowd of at '20,000' reported by the volunteer there. The energy was spectacular. The crowd went wild when Cindy McCan came on stage -- and even wilder when they announced John McCain's name."

"What happened when they announced Gov. Palin? You could hear the cheering for MILES, and I do not exaggerate. There was no more room at the event, and people were literally listening to her in the street, sidewalk and on the corners of parking lots. This was incredibly energizing and inspiring. To see someone so brutally attacked and humiliated go right back out there and fight again . . . "

"Fight and INSPIRE."

Sarah Palin, Cristi Adkins: Heroines

"Obama and the politics of hatred . . . Cristi Adkins, Sarah Palin . . . "

Right now, the Obama Campaign is desperate and will use its slime machine to try to destroy Sarah Palin and her family. It has done the same with anti-Obama media figure, Cristi Adkins, an ex Army MP, nurse, and mother of two teenagers and a three-year old.

If you'd like to hear me talking on KDKA-TV about America's newest sensation, Sarah Palin, click on the following link: http://kdka.com/video/?id=45870@kdka.dayport.com

Obama and his huge hate machine will not succeed in destroying either Cristi or Sarah. But I think it's critical for social conservatives and any people of decency to know what's coming and to warn their associates. My hope is that Gov. Palin and John McCain can put an end ultimately to the Politics of Hatred, which is the approach favored by Obama, the Chicago Machine, and David Axelrod.

(More today about the death threats received by Cristi Adkins -- and fact that some Obama bots tried to spit in her face and push her friend in front of a moving bus . . . Obama's PAID bloggers vilify either Cristi or Sarah, or both, every day. But these two extremely tough women cannot be cowed.

The other day I urged several hundred bloggers to "DEFEND SARAH -- NOW." They did. It surely helped. Two months ago, it was said, "McCain has no online presence." The passionate actions of Cristi Adkins, Michael Schuyler, and others have led to a situation now where there are 500-plus bloggers posting every day in support of McCain-Palin.

Last Friday, thos blogs touched directly more than two million visitors -- 500,000-plus on one blog. An urgent point now is to bring more social conservative bloggers (we already have many, including Cristi and I) into the mix.

They can do so by e-mailing me at: TalkTop65@aol.com. They'll get a blogroll code and material about how they can increase traffic on their sites.

Obama Picks Biden the Blowhard

"Presumably a President Obama would put Biden over in some corner, adjacent to a potted plant."

At videoboard, you can find out how to get great videos of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, John Edwards, Chris Dodd, and various other Democrats during the Primaries. They're the videos and images Obama doesn't want you to see.

In picking Joe Biden, Obama went with one of the biggest blowhards in the history of the Senate. When Biden announced in 2007 that he was running for President, one columnist described him as a "human gaffe machine." Democrats nationally have never been impressed by Biden. In the Democrat Primaries in 2008, Biden got a grand total of 9,000 votes. Hillary Clinton got in excess of 18 million. Presumably a President Obama would put Biden over in the corner, adjacent to a potted plant.

If you want a video widget for your blog, please go to the same site: http://videoboard.gop.com. There, you can copy and paste the code. Notice the VideoBoard widget on my sidebar. At the web site, you'll find links to many videos. You'll also find out what Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton really think about the inexperienced Sen. Obama.

If you're looking for the shocking new piece on how the Obama campaign has gone after Cristi Adkins, co-founder of Clintons4McCain and Nobama Mission, please scroll down to the previous column. It has drawn thousands of visitors, and I appreciate your interest in this story of the Obama Campaign's thuggery

If you want to support Cristi, please join Clintons4McCain and Nobama Mission. As you may know, the Obama text-messages about the Biden announcement were a scam. They had nothing to do with informing people. They had everything to do with using surreptitious means to grab information -- esssentially to get individual's cell phone numbers. The "announcement" came several hours after the media had broken the news.

Hopefully, millions of people's cell phones will not be awakening them regularly at 3 a.m.

NOTE: One of the best sites for revealing Obama's constant prevarications about his life and career is at: http://talkstraight.org. It's definitely worth many visits.

Cristi Adkins Beating Barack Obama

"Barack Obama is trying to give Cristi Adkins the same mugging he did to Hillary Clinton. This time he's not going to succeed."

[On Sunday, I'll reveal "Obama's VP Text-Message Scam." Was Obama really sending out 3 a.m. messages on his Biden choice? Of course not. He was deceiving people with an "information grab," gathering cell phone numbers from individuals he'll contact many times -- perhaps always at 3 a.m.]

Cristi Adkins is mad as hell at Barack Obama, and she isn't going to take it -- his narcissistic, thuggish, dishonest campaign -- anymore. She's mad because Obama-bot have hacked your computers, sent her hate-filled e-mails, and even threatened her life.

She refuses to be intimidated.

Cristi is one of the most effective "Hillary Supporters", a woman who's working 14-hour-days to ensure the defeat on Nov. 4 of the man she calls "Hussein." She calls him that because she believes -- correctly -- that he has only a tangential connection to American values. His history demonstrates that he's much more at home in Kenya than in mainstream America, which is too "bitter" for his rarified tastes.

Obama and his sycophants despise what Cristi, a co-founder of Clintons4McCain and NobamaMission, is doing, and they've responded by initiating a campaign of hatred and innuendo against her.Cristi is a mom (two teenagers and a three-year-old), a wife, a veteran (former MP), and a nurse. The father of her two teenagers just came home from a combat tour in Afghanistan.

In short, she's the kind of American with whom Obama and his fellow elitists have nothing in common. Why does she bug Obama so much? Mainly because she's frequent guest on shows hosted by people by Neil Cavuto, Sean Hannity, Jim Bohannon. She's even been on the "Daily Show."

Right now, she's headed to Denver to "Just Say No Deal" to Barack H. Obama. She's a force in contemporary politics. For that reason, she's been the target of absurd attacks by bloggers who serve as cheerleaders for BHO.

To many of the people reading this blog: Were you aware that Obama PAYS his bloggers? Most of them get roughly $7 an hour, and some apparently receive much more. That would come as news to people who visit their sites and believe they're getting something approximating "straight talk." In fact, those bloggers are presenting all the "news" that fits with the Obama agenda.

In our own NoBama Mission Bloggers, a brainchild of Cristi Adkins and others in the NoBama Mission effort, we will have 200 blogs by the end of this day. How many of them are paid by anyone? A grand total of zero. They are all volunteers -- just like me, just like Cristi, just like the other tens of thousand of people who center their lives around the NoBama effort.

One thing Cristi is asked is why she works with non-Democrats. Well, DUH! She founded Clintons4McCain. She didn't found Clintons4Nobody, or Clintons4theheckuvait. If you're against Obama with us, you're among friends.

The NoBama effort is perhaps the most diverse coalition in American history. It consists of Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and even a stray Libertarian or two. In that effort, there are liberals, moderates, and conservatives. There are no far-left crazies or America-haters, unlike Obama's own scary group.

What binds our people of so many different views together is a commitment to the following statement: "Barack Obama is too inexperienced, too unqualified, too untrustworthy, and too dangerous to be POTUS." Anyone who shares that view is welcome in our coalition.

The hate campaign by Obama, his staffers, and his bought-and-paid for bloggers against Cristi is similar to the effort they waged against Hillary Clinton. Of course, she has been one of the more liberal members of the Clinton Administration and the U.S. Senate.

Many Black members of Congress backed her bid for the presidency. Those who did so are now being punished by Obama at the Democratic National Convention. Charlie Rangel, one of the most important members of the House and a Clinton backer, has NOT been invited to speak.

For her efforts on behalf of civil rights and liberal causes, Hillary Clinton was branded by Obama and his surrogates as a warmonger, a liar, and a racist. Geraldine Ferraro, also a long-time proponent of civil rights, was also labeled a racist, as was President Bill Clinton.

Given this background by Obama and his minions, it's no surprise that Cristi Adkins is under attack. Of course, she isn't being defamed for her statements about Obama, all of which are factual. Instead, they're trying to bleed her to death with a thousand pinpricks. She's accused of saying this (maybe) once, or of knowing this person or someone else, or of advocating this-or-that.

Does Cristi head right to the front-lines, where the chances of taking political shrapnel are the greatest? If you've ever seen her in action, you know she does. Also, she "pushs the envelope." She takes after "Hussein" in creative, imaginative ways. Most of these efforts work, and some don't, which is par for the course with risk-takers.

The main "charge" against Cristi is that she once was in a business venture that didn't work out. Big deal. There are probably 150 million Americans, including this one, who are in the same boat.

In fact, Cristi -- my friend and political ally -- is one of the single most effective spokeswomen in America against Obama. As long as that remains the case -- and it will through November 4 -- Obama and his meanspirited, robotic followers will try to destroy her. In other words, they will try to "Hillary-boat" her, just as they did the junior Senator from New York.

I have news for the man Cristi calls "Hussein." You will not succeed. You will not win this election. You are up against people who will not rest until John McCain sends you back to the Chicago political machine that spawned you.

What can the readers of this piece do in support of Cristi Adkins, American? You can go to Clintons4McCain and NoBama Mission and sign up as members of those organizations. Many thousands of people have already done. Please do it for Cristi -- and do it for America. Now.

How YOU Can Stop Obamamania

This column went out to a huge number of Americans. The exact number will not be revealed, but it impressed the heck out of me! A great accomplishment by my tireless friend, Cristi Adkins, one of the founders of Clintons for McCain.

http://hillaryclintonnews.blogspot.com

Cristi Adkins

Watching television on Mother's Day, with a growing degree of angst, I surfed the channels to see Senator Clinton's historic Grafton, WV appearance. The first female presidential candidate of my lifetime, this champion for women campaigned on the 100th anniversary of Mother's Day at the international shrine of Anna Jarvis, the founder of mother's day. Like Clinton, Jarvis committed herself to the betterment of womankind. She meant for Mother's Day to be a sacred occasion, dedicated to honoring our mothers for their sacrifices and devotion.

Yet, on that Sunday, May 11, 2008, not even a whisper of this meaningful event was heard on any of the airwaves. What was the substitution that mothers all over America were left to be honored with this Mother's Day? Bizarre episodes of “Obamamania.”

The day passed with no mention of Clinton's appearance on any broadcast that I could find. In fact, there were but a few mentions of Senator McCain's commercial with him sitting beside his 96-year-old Mother. Somehow, they weren’t “newsworthy.”

Instead, television accounts of Senator Obama's events and movements accosted this country on that blessed day like an acoustic assault. Through the tears in my eyes and soreness in my heart, I watched our chance of positive change slipping further away. I could ask but one question...how do I help supporters of Mrs. Clinton say good bye to their hopes of a fair and balanced political season?

If you've wondered again and over again how all this Obamamania started, then you’re not alone. It is by no accident you find yourself reading this now. Never knowing what could have been should the popular consensus have conquered the ignorance of the elect, we are forced to swallow the noise. What we are left with is the Obama hype, also known as Obamamania.

Yet, there are champions among us...holding the front line steady and asking for your help now. Like Anna Jarvis, who was never too busy or too lazy to write letters in support of her cause, you too have all that is needed right now to impact this Obamamania.

In fact, a pen and paper were the greatest weapons in Anna Jarvis' arsenal in her efforts to use motherhood as a tool for healing the country during the Civil War.In 1905, through tireless letter writing to politicians, religious leaders and even retail moguls, real change came about. Anna Jarvis' simple idea of honoring mothers spawned a movement that before long swept the world.

Yes, this middle-class, blue collar woman at the turn of the century achieved an unusual accomplishment for her time; all through the persistence of her pen.Anna Jarvis' time here has passed, but her spirit lives every second Sunday in May. It is in this same spirit that she can still teach us a thing or two about change that is more than merely pretty words. The leaders of this movement, our movement, your movement ...Nobama... are asking you now to bring about a positive change.

You can nurture and grow this effort; and, all you need to do now is write – more often now with key strokes than with Anna’s pen strokes. Now, this time, in our time, 2008, we too have the power to help once more to change the course of history and ease the pain of this country. Yes, Obama is right – although not in the way he thinks about change for this country; but, yes it is time. And as Patty Loveless reminds us, ‘life is about change; nothing ever stays the same.'

As our forces continue to gather, we ask everyone to take pen to hand, tap on your laptop and network through the blogosphere...now. Tell the world, tell it here, tell it now, tell it loud.

It's time to reach out...reach out to the news media, to the Obama supporters and even to the Super Delegates and ask them, "How can we help you to Say Goodbye to Obama-mania?"Email friends, relatives and even not-so-loved ones to remind them that while change is unavoidable, Obama's kind of change is suspect, the product of an inexperienced and dangerous man.

Write to super-delegates as Ricki Lieberman suggests and point out the obvious. Send editorials to your local papers...tell America Why Obama is Untrustworthy and Dangerous! It’s time for a positive change, a healing moment and a new beginning in this next chapter of our country. It starts with saying 'Goodbye' to the politics of the parties and hello to the President for the People, all the people.

Then, while you're at it, give the people you write to all of the reasons ‘Why You Think Obama is not trustworthy – and not the man for America.’

Obama's Politics of Racial Animosity

In Obama's latest campaign ad directed toward white voters (he already has the Black vote), he says of his grandfather ("never saw combat") and grandmother ("typical white person") and mother (whose race he began to keep secret): "They taught me values straight out of the Kansas [i.e., almost all white] heartland." That was the heartland presumably where, in his words, "the farm boys stank like pigs." C'mon Barack, tell us how you really feel -- or do we have to rely on Michelle for that?

Barack Obama uses this picture in his campaign commercials, identifying the two relatives as "my white grandparents." In commercials and speeches, he identifies them as mildly heroic figures ("fought in Patton's Army . . . worked in a bomb assembly plant"). In his book Dreams From My Father, he characterizes them as clueless white bumpkins.

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join me as we try to change it." (Barack Obama)

"I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of twelve or thirteen, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites." (Barack Obama)

"I found solace [as a young man] in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race." Barack Obama

"I learned to slip back and forth between my black and white worlds. One of those tricks I had learned: [White] People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves." Barack Obama

Could a candidate like John McCain (or Hillary Clinton? or any white candidate?) get away with comments like these? The national media, which sees its function as waving pom-poms anytime they hear Obama's baritone, cuts the Illinois Senator an endless amount of slack.

They do so mainly because he identifies himself (sometimes) as a Black man. Most journalists know they're expected to show deference toward Black politicians -- unless, of course, they happen to be Republicans.

David Axelrod, Obama's campaign manager, is celebrated by the the national media as a man of organizational genius. In fact, he's become legendary in Illinois and nationally for shamelessly using the race card to gain political advantage. In his crazy-quilt world, if you oppose one of his Black candidates, you must be a racist.
Candidate Obama himself -- a product of a Black African father and a White American mother -- uses race regularly when it helps his cause. In his current commercials -- directed toward white voters in states like Pennsylvania and Ohio -- Obama shows a picture of himself as a young man with his white grandparents.
These are the same grandparents he makes fun of his first autobiography (he has two), Dreams From My Father. In commercials and campaign speeches, he salutes the grandfather as a man who "served in Patton's army."
In Dreams, however, he dismisses grandpa as "someone who never saw combat." His grandmother -- now 85 and appearing in at least one commercial to help establish Obama's Caucasian roots -- he slurs in the book as "a typical white person."
When the grandmother was accosted by a large Black man demanding money, Obama acts as if it were her fault. That's the same grandmother he referred to in his Philadelphia speech on "race," surely one of the emptiest political statements made in our lifetime.
He implied at the time that his grandmother had been perhaps as racially insensitive as the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. He said he could no more "disown" the race-baiting, America-hating preacher than he could his "own grandmother."Later, of course, he did disown Wright for "disrespecting" him -- Obama! Somehow the disrespect (actually, hatred) the preacher showed for people like his grandparents and mother didn't seem to bother Obama.
What's more, the disrespect Wright showed for the nation and for Senator Clinton apparently didn't matter. In the current commercial -- the one aimed at white people who voted mainly for Hillary -- he talks about what a "loving" family his grandparents and (Caucasian) mother were. Apparently, he wants to have it both ways.
Obama won the Democratic primaries in states like South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana mainly because he was Black. In those states, large proportions of the Democratic electorate are African-American, and Obama got roughly 85%-90% of their votes. That happened even though Mrs. Clinton has a long record of championing Black causes.
When Geraldine Ferraro raised such facts, she was maligned by Obama's surrogates and his media sycophants as a racist. Her reputation as a civil-rights champion was ignored. Her reputation remains in tatters.
Now that Obama has the nation's Black vote in his pocket, he's becoming -- at least metaphorically -- a lot "whiter." The comic, supposedly insensitive grandparents re-emerge as symbols of his connections to the white world.
His previously volatile wife, Michelle, who wasn't proud of her country, has now re-surfaced as a Black version of Laura Bush. The next time we see her on TV this formerly militant Black woman probably will be baking cookies.
At the same time, Obama's online wrecking crew is going around calling McCain supporters racist. After all, what reasons other than race could they (we) have for not supporting "St. Barack?"On Clintons4McCain, an organization I've urged all McCain supporters to join, Cristi Adkins, one of the founders, talks today about the charges against her organization.
Here's what Cristi, a true heroine of political decency, says:"[At Clintons4McCain] we're . . . getting emails asserting that the only reason anyone WOULD vote for McCain is because they're racist. . . . [Such] questions/statements have the same source -- blind partisanship and built in excuse-making and blame-shifting. Both assume simple motives, and both assume everyone's a puppet, parrot-robot like the writers of these emails."
This is not going to be a "fun" campaign. Obama and his minions are going to do more than play the "race card." They're going to throw at opponents every card in the deck. As they did with Hillary Clinton in the primary, they'll going to hurl great loads of mud at McCain and his supporters.
Meanwhile, Obama will continue to be either White -- or Black -- or a mixture of the two -- depending on his immediate political goals. It's a disgusting show, but we'd better learn to live with it until November 4.
(Note: my definition of racism? "Stereotyping members of one or more races in order to denigrate them." I'd love to hear the Obamas' definition.)
