Obama: Racism, Cynicism, Infanticide

On the Yahoo site called Hilalry's Eighteen Million Supporters, Darla asked the following:
Where are the discussions about Obama's stand on gun> control, abortion, or the economy? How do we derail his bid for the> oval office?

My response was as follows:

Darla asked what Obama's stand was on abortion. Again, that's easy to answer, as he toes the NARAL line. He knows that embryos don't vote and neither do infants. (He is correct on that point.)

As for his stand on abortion, he believes it should be allowed to take place in any and all instances, right up until the ninth month of pregnancy. (I know he's been doing some shucking and jiving lately on this issue.)

On abortion generally, he opposed in Illinois The Live Birth Infant Protection Act. That means he wanted to deny medical care to infants born alive as result of botched abortions. His view apparently was that nurses and physicians should be allowed to pretend the live infant was in fact dead.

In short, he not only believes in just about any and all abortions, but he also seemingly believes in infanticide.

Those who are "pro-choice" in the extreme will vote for Barack H. Obama. Those who believe in protecting the lives of all infants born alive will vote for John McCain.

Obama and the Politics of Cynicism, Racism

Here's how Jack, a Hillary Supporter, described Obama's tactics: It appears that the McCain campaign is following the same approach. What both Hillary faced and McCain is facing is a collection of radical racists that the public has merely witnessed the surface of. It takes a lot of punching and a combative approach to counter them that the politically correct have no capacity for. The Obama people are stealing the inheritance of the meek. Never forget Father Pfleger's ridicule of Hillary, playing to the prejudice and bitterness of a captive group of pawns in Reverend Wright's "church." It needs to be returned to him fourfold.

My response to Jack:

Jack, you are absolutely 100% correct, Dryden, and that is exaclty what I'm doing. In Pennsylvania and other states, as Nader suggested, Obama is running commercials directed to white pople, emphasizing (and showing graphics of) his white relatives.

Gee, why isn't he aiming some of the hundreds of millions worth of commercials to Black people? Because he assumes he has them as a captive voting bloc.

Thus, the Black candidate is, as Nader observed, running as a "white guy." Many Black people spoke out against the Wright-Pfleger racism, but many others didn't. Why not? Because when BHO was running as the "Black" candidate, they were afraid to. commment They feared social ostracism.

I sincrely hope all people of good will, Democrat or Republican, conservative or moderate, will denounce the racism in Obama's books (especially Dreams from My Father), commercials, and speeches. A guy who runs as a Black man in South Carolina and a white man in Wyoming is really not someone America needs.

I realize some Democrats believe it's okay to know these things but fear it's not okay to say them. I say what I believe and what the evidence shows.

For goodness sake, read that awful book -- Dreams from My Father -- and see the kind of Black liberation nonsense he's spewing. If you really believe in a racially tolerant and diverse country, then please say so. And that definitely means "NoBama."

Not in 2008, and not ever.

Nancy Pelosi Could Lose Race

San Francisco Nancy, all dressed up . . . and heading for defeat?

Many supporters of Hillary Clinton are very angry at Nancy Pelosi, who -- in her usual smiling way -- shafted Hillary Clinton. Here's my analysis . . .

On Nancy Pelosi who, for whatever reason (jealousy? hostility to Bill for the 1994 Republican victory?) stabbed Hillary Clinton in the back. Of course, Nancy is raising millions from the special interests her friend Obama supposedly loathes (but also takes a lot of money from).

There's a three-way race in San Francisco. It involves Queen Nancy, Cindy Sheehan (who has her own problems and can't raise any money), and Dana Walsh, the GOP candidate. There is a chance -- not huge, but a chance anyway -- that Ms. Walsh could win with as little as 36-37% of the vote. I know she's reaching out hard to Hillary voters.

Nancy's main advantage is the huge amount of money she's raising. Gas prices are playing a big role in the race, as they are everywhere else. Mrs. Pelosi is known for her hostility to several other female members of Congress, especially Jane Harman from southern Cal.

Like Pelosi, Harman married very well -- that is, to an extremely rich man. Harman's net worth (including her husband's fortune) is higher even than Pelosi's! That may the main cause of Nancy's animosity toward Jane.

Barack Obama: American Fuhrer?

Obama speaking before the adoring multitudes at Invesco Field, Denver. What do Obama and the Reichsfuhrer have in common? I've been writing -- and others have also -- about the similarities between the Obama approach to campaigning and the events in Germany in the 1930s. Film buffs among our group will be aware of the of the brilliant (and evil) Nazi filmmaker, Leni Riefensthal, who did the film (we've all seen it) called "Triumph of the Will," featuring everybody's favorite Reichsfuhrer, Adolph Hitter, and masses of cheering, chanting Germans (although not of course Jewish Germans).

It's perhaps the greatest propaganda flick of all-time.

In his acceptance speech, Obama will "make love" to the audience, which will be adulatory. He will recite all the slogans David Axelrod provided him -- and the audience will respond as the world's largest collection of cheerleaders. Only the cynics among us will have flashbacks to the old films of Mussolini and Hitler (and perhaps the videos of Rev. Wright?). Leni Riefenstahl, although long dead, will be smiling. The speech will be as rhetorically powerful, albeit empty of any meaningful political and social content, as anything we've ever heard.

The call (demand? order?) of all young Americans to "National Service" should not, of course, be confused with "the Hitler Youth," although admittedly, I do share that "confusion."

The most partisan member of the U.S. Senate will call us once again to "post-partisanship." The most racially divisive figure of our time will order us to go "beyond race." The man who called his grandmother "a typical white person" will point lovingly to her in the crowd. The man who sat for 20 years in Rev. Wright's church will tell us about the depth and breadth of his judgment. The man who has absolutely no connection to or knowledge of the U.S. military will assert that he's ready to be commander-in-chief.

I don't know about "y'all," but I can't wait!Heil Barack!

Catholics Can't Vote for Obama

"Continue My Work, Barack." Let's see, wasn't Jimmy Carter's "energy plan" for all of us to wear thick sweaters and two pairs of socks. With Barack's plan, make that three pairs of socks.

Obama and Catholics: A game of hide and seek


Barack Obama may quite well be the luckiest man in America.Somehow, he’s managed to play a balancing act with the far left – making promises about so many different things to different audiences I don’t know how he keeps them straight. (I’ll hit on those later).But his latest flip flop as he courts Independents, moderates and even goes after President Bush’s faith-based initiatives have to take the cake.

Somehow he’s managed to get the support of a group called Roman Catholics for Obama.It’s no secret that Catholics, including myself, have often voted for Democrats in the past. Even pro-life Catholics vote for Democrats. I’m Catholic, I’m Hispanic, and, being pro choice, while Independent that often was the deciding factor for me in choosing a candidate.

However, I do know the Church’s teachings on abortion, and while I may not agree with them, I never felt it was my right to take away another woman’s right – to a point. I felt, and do feel, that in the very early weeks a woman should have the right to choose what to do with her own body (although I believe education is a better option, but that’s another topic). And naturally if the mother’s life is at stake, that raises an entirely different issue.

When I discovered, however, how far Barack Obama was willing to go with his stance on abortion (it’s no wonder he’s been labeled the most liberal senator, a title he took away from Ted Kennedy), I was appalled.

This was early on in the primary, and it opened my eyes to some [disturbing] things about the Obama.In 2002, Congress passed the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which gave caregivers the right to provide medical care to infants who were born alive as the result of an “oops” abortion. A nurse, Sharon Dunsmore, wrote about one such instance in which she quoted the pediatrician as saying the infant had “the audacity to survive.”

Familiar words? Audacity is a theme with Barack Obama, it seems.In any case, babies like this were, at that time, not given any care under the law, and healthcare providers were forced to allow them to die alone, often in closets or corners, when these babies clearly could survive with minimal care.

Who would oppose such a bill? Well, no one really. It easily passed, with even Ted Kennedy supporting it, as well as NARAL and other pro-choice groups.But then, Barack Obama was not yet a United States senator at that time, so he couldn’t vote on that bill. He did, however, vote on similar legislation in the Illinois State Senate. And his votes shocked and appalled the Catholic community.

In 2002 and 2003, Obama, as a state senator in Illinois, voted against similar legislation, and he went even further as chair of the Health and Human Services Committee when he blocked another attempt to bring legislation to the Illinois Senate. Would he have voted any differently at the federal level, and if so, why?

Now Barack Obama is pandering to the middle and has gotten [some] Catholics on his side, and not just those who traditionally vote Democratic. All the senators who voted for the Born Alive Infants Protection Act are backing him, along with some surprising endorsers: Senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), Democratic Governor Tim Kaine (Va.), Democratic Governor Bill Richardson (N.M.), Representative Patrick Kennedy (D-Mass.), Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.), and Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.), as well as Dan Rooney, owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team.

Other pro-life Democrats are also backing Obama.A quote from The Catholic World Report makes clear its confusion on some Catholics' obvious, well, confusion about Barack Obama:

But no group of Catholics seems quite as odd as the one titled “Roman Catholics for Obama ’08,” which dubs Barack Obama “the best and right candidate for Catholic voters.” The group asserts: “[W]e, as Catholics, believe Catholics can and should vote for Barack Obama because his platform aligns well with Catholic Social Teaching.”

There’s much more, such as the group’s belief that Obama is against the death penalty (he’s not) and other ramblings. He certainly seems to have it fooled. But then again, fooling people is something he’s raised to an art form.

I was confused on this issue, because as I said I am pro-choice, but early on I was completely appalled by what I had heard about Obama’s stance on abortion and I thought it couldn’t possibly be true – until I did the research.

So I called another Catholic, someone who is also pro choice, but who is a more “observant” Catholic than I am – my mother.“It’s murder,” she said. “You’re right, I’m pro-choice, but what that man condones is just murder, nothing less.” She’s also a lifelong Democrat, who won’t be voting for Barack Obama.

How else is Obama balancing the left with the middle? His stance on the war in Iraq, which he doesn’t seem to know (or simply says something else to another audience); pandering to anti-gun groups unless speaking to gun owners (whom he later calls bitter people who cling to their religion); promising [improved] healthcare and to improve the economy (but failing to mention the astronomical rise in taxes to middle class and the slum of his own senatorial district).

He even tells the public and press what they can and cannot ask him about – his wife, his past, his associates.With Obama, it’s all a game of hide and seek. If you can’t catch him, maybe he can hide the truth (whatever that may be) long enough to win this election. Then God help us all.

Steve adds: Like Tracy and her mother, I am Roman Catholic. I do not see how anyone who claims to be Roman Catholic can vote for Barack Obama. Alas, if infants born alive in botched abortions could vote, I'm sure Obama would be much more concerned about them. When NoBama Mission says Barack Obama is "dangerous," this is what we mean. A presidential candidate who has no real respect for life? As Tracy says, "God help us."

Clintonistas Moving Strongly to McCain

A lot of candidates -- presidential and congressional -- are wondering: what on earth happened to "The" issues? In other words, what has occurred with what we all thought were going to be "The Issues?" What happend to the Iraq War? Or Afghanistan? Or health care? Or national security? Or immigration? Or education? Or even pork-barrel spending (still and issue, but a lesser one)?

The answer is that they've all faded, and the most important national concern is . . . gasoline prices. I suggest to GOP candidates across America how to take that issue and run with it -- right into "victory lane."

On my Pennsylvania blog, I write mainly about energy issues as they related to congressional races across the country. In the last several columns, I've written about why energy issues could destroy Democratic campaigns. Sen. Obama's "energy solution" is to let gas prices keep rising -- perhaps to $7 a gallon. Obama's Commercial: Chronic Liar, Fraud

'"WE are the media . . ."

The following message went to the huge number of people associated with the NoBama Network and NoBama Mission. I urge all of you visitors to ally yourselves with both groups.

Anne, I realize all of us are working like 14 dogs and 19 cats, but this information about a database of Obama fanatics is fascinating, and worth putting out to the media. The public doesn't KNOW that there's a horde of Obama fanatics engaged in computer hacking and attempted disruption of NoBama activities.

I will be working with various people over the next 10 days (and some after) putting together a large collection of Bloggers who will support the cause of NobamaMission and/or Clintons4McCain.

I'll also be sending out today and tomorrow the remainder of the material pointing out how Obama's PA commercial shamelessly directed only at "white people." The commercial contains one false or misleading statement after another.

The white grandmother (called in Obama's Dreams From My Father "a typical white person" and described as similar (!) to Rev. Wright in the Philadelphia speech) is not portrayed in the book as part of a "a loving family." The book does NOT portray Obama's family as people who "taught values straight from the Kansas heartland," as the commercial asserts.

In Dreams, the grandparents are essentially portrayed as clueless white people, Midwestern rubes. In his speeches and presumably in future commercials, the grandfather is described as womeone "who served (key word) in [Gen.] Patton's Army."

In Dreams, however, Obama contemptuoulsy dismisses grandpa as someone who "never saw combat." In the the autobiography, Obama talks about how deeply ashamed he was of having a white mother (Anna Dunham). One of this few statements about Kansas is that in the winter the farm boys "stank like pigs."

Of course, his mother, Anna, fled Kansas (and its "heartland values") for Hawaii as if she were leaving the Gateway to Hell. The book makes clear that Ms. Dunham was an atheist and Marxist, something I fear you'll not hear in the commercials talking about the "values" she taught him.

The commercial also talks about Obama's role in "welfare reform." He's talking about some minor reforms at the Illinois state level. I am hearing from reliable people that Barack H. Obama strong opposed welfare reform at the federal level, one of the great achievements of the Clinton presidency. I'll look more deeply into this and get back to you.

In Pennsylvania, the two big daily papers in Pittsburgh (Post-Gazette) and Philadelphia (Inquirer) have no real interest in separating reality from fiction when it comes to Barack Obama. However, it remains very worthwhile to get truthful information out to every media outlet and individual who can put it to good use.

It's not just that Barack Obama is feeding people in PA and elsewhere a pack of lies; rather, it is that he doesn't seem to know (or care) about the difference between truth and fiction.

I'm sending a copy of this to Jack Kelly, a columnist in Pittsburgh and Toledo, who is an absolutely courageous man -- telling the truth in far-left papers. I hope hundreds of thousands of people in the "NoBama" movement come to know Jack's material. (http://post-gazette.com/forum)

I said in the call last night that Barack Obama had made an implied threat to use nuclear weapons against Iran. The printed text from the AIPAC speech doesn't show that clearly, although The Economist magazine used wording from the actual speech rather than the hand-out. I have the audio of the speech and will pin down his exact wording and get it to you.

Last night I sent to various NoBama people material showing that Obama's commercial directed to white voters had him taking credit for passage of legislation regarding wounded veterans on which he didn't vote. (See below)THE LONG COMMERCIAL IS FALSE IN EVERY PARTICULAR. I hope Cristi and others will put it up on Clintons4mccain and elsewhere.

Barack Obama released his first general election ad on Friday, which seems aimed above all to answer some early concerns about his biography and experience. It’s a well made ad, but it also offers an example of the kind of brazen padding of the resume that Obama will inevitably need to engage in, and which will carry serious risks for him. About 46 seconds into the ad, we are told that Obama “passed laws” that “extended healthcare for wounded troops who’d been neglected,” and in the usual manner of these political commercials we are given a little citation at the bottom. The citation reads “Public Law 110-181 1/28/08”. That law is the only federal legislation cited in the ad — the other two items mentioned were from the Illinois legislature and referred to other issues raised in the ad. Public Law 110-181 was the 2008 defense authorization bill. It passed the Senate by 91 to 3 in January, with six Senators not voting. Among those six absentees was Barack Obama.

In an explosive article titled “Obama will immediately birth Palestinian state,”Aaron Klein of WorldNetDaily’s (WND) Jerusalem Bureau quotes a senior Palestinian authority leader as asserting a President Barack Obama would take steps seriously endangering Israel.

The main source of Klein’s story is Palestinian Authority (PA) Planning Minister Samir Abdullah, a former Communist Party head, who spoke to journalists in Tokyo.

"We would like to see Obama elected. If he is elected, an agreement about the foundation of a Palestinian state (would be) reached," Samir asserted.

The Planning Minister added that, once Obama takes office, “he will immediately study the Palestinian cause and will try to push it forward. He will not wait until the last period of his office to re-launch negotiations . . . [but] will begin doing this his first day in office, unlike President Bush . . . .”

Samir’s remarks were published on July 6 in the Firas Press Network, a Palestinian news website linked with PA President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah Organization.

Samir Abdullah isn’t the only Palestinian official to express support for Obama. In April, Ahmed Yousuf, Hamas' chief political adviser in Gaza, told WND and WABC that he "hopes" Obama becomes president.

"We like Mr. Obama, and we hope that he will win the elections," said Yousef. "I hope Mr. Obama and the Democrats will change the political discourse...”

Comparing Obama to JFK, Yousuf said “he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community, but not with humiliation and arrogance,

Obama has insisted he’s a strong supporter of the Jewish state, but he’s generally surrounded himself with individuals hostile to Israel. For example, he’s had a long, close relationship with Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, a pro-Palestinian activist and sharp critic of Israel.

In an article in The Nation magazine, Khalidi described the “Palestinian question” as “a running sore” – a term that Obama later adapted for his own use. Khalidi’s piece calls Israel “a racist state” and accuses it of carrying out “ethnic cleansing.”

In The Nation piece, Khalidi argues – in WND’s words – that “Israel should be dissolved and instead a bi-national, cantonal system should be set up in which Jews and Arabs reside.”

Of Khalidi, Obama has said, “I have had conversations with him. . . [and] he vehemently disagrees with a lot of Israel’s policies.” In fact, Obama and Khalidi became close friends when both taught at the University of Chicago and lived near each other. The Obamas even babysat the Khalidi’s children.

Another anti-Israel figure close to Obama is Merrill McPeak, who serves as the Illinois Senator’s military adviser and national campaign co-chair. During a 2003 interview with the Oregonian newspaper, McPeak asserted that the Israeli-Palestinian problem has its origins in “New York City [and] Miami.”

He continued, “We have a large [Jewish] vote – [a] vote in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it.” His point was that American Jews were the ones impeding a solution to the conflict.

Obama’s top Middle East adviser is Daniel Kurtzer, a former ambassador to Israel. He’s a man whose Obama connections deeply concern Israelis and their American friends.

As WND points out, Kurtzer “has been identified by Israeli leaders, including prime ministers, as biased against Israel and is notorious for urging extreme concessions from the Jewish state.”

About Kurtzer, former Prime Minister Yitzak Shamir said that he “frequently pressured Israel to make one-sided concessions to the Arabs. He constantly blamed Israel for the absence of Mideast peace.”

Shamir added that Kurtzer “paid little or no attention to the fact that the Palestinians were carrying out terrorist attacks and openly calling for the destruction of Israel.”

Regarding this key Obama adviser, the leading Jewish daily, Yediot Amitay, editorialized that “Possibly more than any other U.S. State Department official, Kurtzer has been instrumental in promoting the goals of the Palestinians . . . .”

If we know a man or woman by the company they keep, Obama certainly has some very dubious associations when it comes to Israel and the Middle East. He claims to be a friend of Israel, but he has surrounded himself with individuals whose views put the embattled Jewish state at risk.
