Obama Idiocy: US "Muslim Country"

On Thursday, I'm be writing about Hussein's "Endless Apology Tour," Cairo version. Obama apparently has concluded America is "a Muslim country" -- his words -- so I guess all our problems with Islamic world must be over, right?

"I would stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift . . . " (Barack H. Obama in The Audacity of Hope) "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's [Caucasian] race." (Barack H. Obama, Dreams From My Father)

"In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Mr. Obama noted that the United States also could be considered as 'one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.' He sought to downplay the expectations of the speech, but he said he hoped the address would raise awareness about Muslims."

As usual, Barack H. Obama is wrong. The more we become aware of Muslims, the scarier -- and more barbaric -- they become.

In terms of the number of Muslims, the USA ranks 38th on the list -- Indonesia is the largest (and a democracy) and Pakistan (marginally democratic) is the 2d largest. Apparently, we are not a Christian nation (Obama's words) but we are now a Muslim nation?

This is another sign of nitwittery on Obama's part. The man is always described as very bright, but where is the evidence for that???!!! He says one idiotic thing after another (e.g., the U.S. has "57 states," his uncle "liberated Auschwitz," 10,000 people died in tornadoes in which only 12 were killed, etc.), but he is held to no standards of accuracy or intellectual coherence. Frankly, possessing a baritone voice is not synonymous with intelligence. This is a man driven by racial and religious animosities that we are only now coming to comprehend.

We can be sure of one thing in his Egypt speech. He will not emphasize -- perhaps not even mention -- that Islamo-fascists around the world have been responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, including the murders on 9/11 in the US and 7/07 in Great Britain. He cannot speak honestly -- truthfully -- to Muslims because to do so would "offend" them.

Contrats Between Palin and Obama

Sarah Palin with the statue of George Washington, "the Father of Our Country." Might Sarah be on her way to becoming the "Mother of a Revewed America," one now being devastated by the mindless Marxism of Barack Hussein Obama. Sarah loves America. Barack? He likes it -- sort of.

I believe Sarah's slogan -- mantra, selling point -- should be "I'm ONE of YOU." Then, she needs to spell out exactly how that's true. (Barack Obama may be many things -- but being "one of us" isn't among them.

She's a working woman. She's the daughter of two educators. She's a feminist. She's a wife in a a terrific marriage. She's married to a union man and has been a union member herself. She's an athelete -- basketball, running, snow-machining, hunting and fishing -- and a gun-owner. She's the mother of an Army infantryman. She's the mother of a special needs child. She's the mother of a daughter who had a child out of wedlock. She's a Christian who tries to focus on practicing her faith rather than merely delivering lectures about it.

Also, she's a political leader who has bucked her own Party. She's an oil-state Governor who has taken on Big Oil . . . and won. She's one of America's leading advocates of renewable energy. She has been a major advocate of integrity in government and politics. She has helped ensure that her state has the lowest taxes on individuals of any state in the Union.

She will run for President on the grounds that she has much more in common with hundreds of millions of Americans than Barack Obama. If people compare the character and achievements of the two people, Sarah wins hands-down.

Obama's Rules for Campaigning, Governing

To understand the tactics used by Obama and his campaign guru David Axelrod, it's necessary to grasp the "rules" outlined long ago by radical labor organizer Saul Alinsky (in his "Rules for Radicals"). In the last campaign, John McCain and, especially, Gov. Sarah Palin faced such tactics. (In fact, Alinsky influenced both Hillary Clinton, who wrotea thesis on him, and Barack Obama.)

Supporters of Gov. Palin need to understand Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals." Frankly, there's no reason they can't be used AGAINST Obama and his minions. The following points summarize Alinsky's Rules and note how Obama/Axelrod used them in the campaign -- and continue to apply them to undermine potential opponents, such as Gov. Palin.

1. “Rub raw the sores of discontent” – in other words, get irritated people angry enough to demand change, which was Obama's mantra;
2. Convince skeptical and demoralized people that real change is possible (“Yes, we can!”);
3. Understand that hopefulness can overcome a sense of powerlessness; (e.g., Obama's stress on 'hope");
4. Sharpen resentments, fan hostilities, and exploit controversies; (BO’s continual, contemptuous references to "George Bush!" and the targeting of Rush Limbaugh)
5. Begin organizing by first disorganizing the community – to overcome complacency;
   Convince your opponent that your movement is invincible; (“This is OUR time.”)
6. Stay within your people’s comfort zone – their limited experience (e.g., symbols are more effective than substance);
7. Force your opponent outside his comfort zone to create uncertainty and fear;
8. Demand your opponent obey his stated rules, which he usually won’t; (e.g., demanding that Obama's wife not be subject to any criticism -- "lay off my family," as BO said)
9. Use ridicule to infuriate your opposition and generate overreaction (e.g., Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” reference to Palin);
10. Apply tactics that your people enjoy carrying out (e.g., chanting slogans);
    Change your tactics regularly to keep your opponents off-balance; (e.g., wwitching attacks from Bush to McCain to Palin)
11. Maintain constant pressure on the opposition to encourage confusion (e.g., make so many charges your opponent won’t be able to answer them);
12. Threaten an extreme action, such as tying up a major highway, because it's more terrifying than carrying it out; (e.g., suggestions that if Obam lost, there would be “riots in the streets”)
13. Have a constructive alternative to your opponents’ proposals; (“95% will get tax cuts”; a phony promise by Obama)
14. Avoid vague abstractions by picking, personalizing, and polarizing the target (e.g., Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, or George Bush!);

If you go through these “Rules” line-by-line, you’ll be reminded of what Axelrod and Obama did (such as using fear and ridicule/smear tactics). You’ll also understand exactly how we must proceed to overcome Obama and his minions. Being “Mr. Nice Guy” and “Miss Nice Gal” will get us nothing.

Bill Clinton's 9/11 Responsibility

There were serious deficiencies in Bill Clinton's CIA and FBI that led to 9/11 and other disasters (the first WTC bombings, the bombing of African embassies and the attack on the USS Cole) . . .

My comments to a group of dyed-in-the-wool Democrats blasting away about George Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, and others. The person I'm responding to mentioned her high regard for JFK, RFK, and Bill Clinton. I "begged to differ."

I think it's laughable for members of a Party about to nominate Barack Hussein Obama (of all people) as their choice for President to start coming up with the standard nonsense about the evils of Republicans. I am somewhat of a fan of JFK, who never had a chance to accomplish a whole lot.

Why are you, Madame Group Moderator, a fan of RFK and Bill Clinton? I was very much alive during RFK's brief career as JFK's favorite brother, and I saw him as little more than a skillful demagogue.

As for Bill Clinton, he didn't confront anything remotely similar to what his successor has faced. He appointed George Tenant (an awful CIA director) and FBI Director Louie Freeh, one of the architects of the Waco disaster. What was the excuse for those appointments?

The Monica Lewinsky, Gennifer Flowers, Kathryn Willey, and Paul Jones episodes were public humiliations of Hillary Clinton. They rendered ridiculous Bill Clinton's claims to be an advocate for women.

Exaggerating the character and accomplishments of Bill Clinton is a serious flaw among Democrats.. Underestimating (and castigating) GWB is like a Democratic disease.

Unlike most of his Democratic detractors, Bush loves his country -- and does everything in his power to protect it. He clearly values conscience and country ahead of political party. Can we say the same about any leading Democrat?

GWB did not blame Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, and other leading Democrats for allowing 9/11 to happen, although he probably should have. He refused to do so because he didn't want to split the country in a time of war.

I realize many Democrats have never given more than a passing thought to such things. They happen to be true, even though they may offend the faint-of-heart.

Jamie Gorelic, an awful member of the 9/11 Commission, was the assistant attorney-general in the Clinton Administration who came up with the idea that there must be a "wall of separation" between the intelligence and law enforcement agencies. That effort to appease the ACLU made it nearly impossible to prevent us from 9/11.

On the behavior of Bush's opponenets: Is former nominee John Kerry, the rich boy who absolutely betrayed Hillary Clinton by supporting Obama -- in a state Clinton carried by 60-40 -- really a "good man?" The endless scapegoating of GWB is disgusting.

When among Hillary Supporters, I usually ignore the criticisms, but now that you guys -- Democrats -- have presented us with Barack Hussein Obama, the gloves go off.

In particular, about t 9/11: That was primarily the fault of Bush's predecessor, Bill Clinton, as historians will be reminding your great-grandchildren.

There has not been another terrorist attack in the U.S. since then, as we've all noticed. Who gets credit for that? Nancy Pelosi? Harry Reid? Donna Brazile. "It's the economy, stupid" was Clinton's mantra.

No, Bill Clinton and others: "it's the al Qaeda, stupid." I realize, Keri (the Yahoo Group moderator) that any serious discussions of things like the Bush presidency make some people feel faint -- and offended, for God's sake. As the poet T. S. Eliot correctly said, "Humankind cannot bear very much reality."

But this is America, and a good dose of reality is great for the soul. That's especially true in the case of Democrats.

I'm delighted that hundreds of people every day -- sometimes more -- read my blogs (listed at the bottom of this piece). Currently, I'm "managing" a critically important group, NoBama Mission Bloggers. The blogroll (see the sidebar) continues to grow, and right now there are 150-plus blog. My goal, a very ambitious one, is to get to 300 by mid-September. That will be a "critical mass" that will allow us to improve our Google and Technorati "rankings" and begin to have a real influence on the election.
